Service Description
An aromatherapy health consultation is made up of a number of steps: assessment, review, treatment plan and a follow up. Understanding what to expect from your consultation can help you make the most of your appointment. Your consultation begins with the completion of a detailed form covering your health history, conditions, reasons for seeking aromatherapy, application preferences, and other information. This information can be provided over the phone prior to the actual aromatherapy consultation. After the form is filled out, I will review it to clarify all of the information on the form. This will take approximately 30-45 minutes. Following the review, I will provide details of different oils and blends to address your needs and/or intentions; relieving stress, aches and pains, etc. Products can take the form of massage or bath oils, personal inhalers, diffuser blends, etc. I will design the products and treatment regime according to those preferences. Products are provided for an additional fee. I will also follow up with you for feedback on the treatment. There are times when the treatment needs to be adjusted. In most situations, more than one type of application will be appropriate, and essential oil and carrier blends can be changed which will deliver an equally effective treatment. If this is necessary, a charge will be applicable for any additional blends. Aromatherapy health consultations are personalized plans designed specifically for your physical, emotional and spiritual requirements.
