Diane has been practicing Reiki and other forms of energy healing for over a decade. In addition to Reiki, she also offers tuning fork therapy sessions and sound healing with Tibetan Bowls and crystal bowls. A gong is played at the beginning of each session for a short time to assist with healing and rejuvenation of the body. The sound of the gong stimulates the physical body by influencing the surface of the skin and helps to release tension and blocks in the body.

As an aromatherapist, Diane diffuses essential oils during all sessions. She is very knowledgeable about the oils and will recommend different oils for health issues and stress relief. Diane creates custom blends for each client based on their needs, including anti-aging facial oils, blends for acne and skin cleansers. She is trained and certified in all of these modalities.

HOW ENERGY HEALING HELPS
Digestion
Reiki works on balancing the chakras. The solar plexus is located just a few inches above the navel and is what is known as your "power center", the seat of your intuition. This chakra is connected to your digestive system, muscles, pancreas and adrenals. Blockages in this chakra may act as anger, frustration, lack of direction or a feeling of victimization.
Weight Loss
Anxiety, stress, frustration, these emotional factors play a big part in weight gain. When we are going through major changes in our lives we tend to eat a poor diet. Often it consists of comfort foods that make us feel better temporarily.
One of the major benefits of Reiki is to help reduce these symptoms. Since it also works to break the cycle of addiction, it can help eliminate unhealthy eating habits. The Reiki energy works on breaking up the blocks in our chakra system and allows the body to get rid of the toxins. When your energy flows easily through your body it helps improve your overall health.
Sexuality & Sacral Chakra
The Reiki energy works on balancing all chakras. If there is a chakra in your body that is out of balance, the Reiki energy will go to that area. The sacral chakra is orange and is located below your navel. This is associated with your sexuality, procreation, your self-esteem and your creativity. The organs connected to it are your lower abdomen, kidneys, bladder, circulatory system and your reproductive organs and glands. Blockages may create emotional problems and sexual guilt.
